Hey, resellers! I’m your BULQ guide Colleen, and in this video, we’ll debunk common myths about reselling. If you’re just getting into reselling, or are looking to scale your business, there are
likely a few myths you’ve heard about different parts of the process. But don’t worry! We’re here to set the record straight. Myth #1 – In order for your item to sell,
you should list it at the lowest price possible. You don’t have to list your
products at the lowest prices in order for them to sell. In fact, oftentimes resellers
who list products at the lowest price won’t see the product move at all. There’s no hard-line reason for why this happens, but one factor could be that buyers may
think the product is a knockoff or fake because the price is too good to be true. Keeping your prices in line with what
products are actually selling for can help you move product and make a profit. Myth #2 – You should cross list all of
your inventory to enhance sales. You might think the more places your inventory is listed, the better chance it’ll
have of getting purchased. But, that’s not
always the case! Rather than list an item
everywhere, identify which platforms have buyers that are most likely to buy certain
products, such as Poshmark for clothing or eBay for antique and vintage items. Myth #3 – You need a lot of capital before
you can get into wholesale sourcing. This is definitely false! Many wholesale
liquidation sites offer cases of high-quality products at affordable prices
