Lamar Jackson Files Trademark for “YOU ARE GOING TO GET A BOWL OUT OF ME, BELIEVE THAT!”

Hi everybody. Trademark attorney Josh
Gerben, and I have some news for you. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar
Jackson has filed a new trademark application for “YOU ARE GOING TO GET A BOWL OUT OF ME, BELIEVE THAT!” As you can see here, the application was filed on
January 16th and it claims that Jackson has an intent to use this phrase in
association with a clothing brand. The application was filed by Jackson with
the United States Patent and Trademark Office just five days after losing to
the Titans in the divisional round. The phrase, of course, originates from the day
that Jackson was drafted by the Ravens and he famously said they’re gonna “get a
bowl out of me, believe that.” So now, after a devastating
playoff loss, Jackson reiterating his guarantee to the city of Baltimore that
‘you are going to get a bowl out of me, believe that.’ Also noteworthy here,
Jackson filed two more applications on January 16th. One for “TRUZZ” and the other
for “NOT BAD FOR A RUNNING BACK.” Both of these applications also indicate that
Jackson plans to launch a clothing brand under the phrases. So there you have it,
Lamar Jackson wasting no time this off-season. Just five days after losing in
the divisional round at the Tennessee Titans, he’s at the trademark office
making trademark filings, guaranteeing the city of Baltimore a Super Bowl. I
hope you enjoyed and I’ll talk to you next time.
