There’s no doubt about it The fashion industry is competitive and you may feel like it’s harder than ever to cut through the noise and reach new customers Today’s video is going to help your brand stand apart Hi, I’m Shannon Lohr of Factory45 and for free weekly fashion entrepreneurship advice subscribe by clicking the red button below How do you attract customers and new followers to your fashion brand? That’s the golden question, right? Everyone wants to know that answer because more followers Usually equals more sales Well one way is by cutting through the noise of your competition and standing out to your ideal target customer But how do you do that? Today, I’m going to share three fashion branding and marketing tips to attract customers and grow your sustainable fashion brand Tip number one is Storytelling You cannot, I repeat, cannot launch a sustainable fashion brand without telling a story. Your story is that x-factor for your marketing efforts It’s through storytelling that you foster connection and engagement with your potential customer and most of all, build not just a business but a brand. The good news is it’s easier than ever before to get your story out there through free marketing avenues, like social media and blogging and other content marketing. Before you do that though, you need to spend time coming up with your story in clear memorable snippets that you can share with your audience in a compelling way. Which leads me to tip number two: Come up with a sticky message. Your sticky message is the statement that defines your brand. More than an elevator pitch, it’s easy to remember and pulls someone in to want to know more about your brand. It’s “sticky.” So ask yourself, What do you want your brand to be remembered for when someone hears your brand name? What do you want them to think and feel? Before I go on to tip three, just tell me really quick in the comments below. What’s your sticky message? What do you want your brand you remembered for? And the third tip is to solve a specific problem. I talk about this a lot with the entrepreneurs I work with through Factory45. The best brands and products identify a problem and they come up with a solution for their customer. That means not trying to be everything to everyone. Identify your niche and focus all of your attention on solving problems for them. As I always say, if you’re trying to appeal to everyone then you’ll end up appealing to no one. So focus on a problem and focus on creating solutions for that problem. So there you go. Now, you know three ways to attract new customers. One, through storytelling; two, through your sticky message; and three, by solving a problem. One of my favorite things to write about and share with my email list is branding and marketing tips for start-up fashion brands. I’m able to dig in a little bit more than just a few minute video.
